Likes: Divination, Tattoos and Long Walks on the Beach

Today I guess I knocked something off my Bucket List that I didn't even know existed... get a tattoo on a whim?  Well, it wasn't quite that spontaneous (I had found the shop [Rabble Rouser] online before arriving, and had considered whether I might do a walk-in), but I didn't realize what I'd be going in to get until DMB capped off the show last night with All Along the Watchtower.

After gettin' inked I took a lovely stroll through the Venice Canals, down the Venice Beach Boardwalk to Santa Monica Pier.  I stopped along the way for a palm reading (like you do), and discovered that I'm to live a life of travel writing throughout my "above average lifespan", and if I'm patient, I'll marry once, with somewhere between 0-3 children...

A girl's gotta eat, so I also stopped for a beer and burger at Venice Ale House, which had fabulous service.  Eventually I took my first ever (group) Lyft, which was a much more straightforward experience than I had been giving it credit for, mentally, as I stressed about it while waiting for the car.

Capped off the evening reminiscing with A about our high school days and perusing his yearbook.  Also lamenting how terribly I had destroyed my feet walking for like six hours in a too-old pair of birks.
