DMB at Hollywood Bowl

My fourth day in LA was mostly chill. I got to catch up with each of my hosts at length, which was just the best, and I got my first taste of Trader Joe's, which was a bit overwhelming. And now I am in love with a dessert cookie that I can no longer remember the name of and have never seen in Canada, so thanks for that, California.

The only event I had pre-planned for this trip was to see the Dave Matthews Band at the Hollywood Bowl, and boy did they ever step up. I was a little disappointed that (due to the massive crowds, and me having to use the WC approximately 18 times per day) we didn't make it to our seats in time for One Sweet World, but it was worth it a million times over regardless.

SOLD OUT

They played the live debut of When I'm Weary, which had me a little weepy, and (having listened exclusively to Come Tomorrow for the month prior to the trip) I sang along to every tune. I was tickled that they played Crash Into Me, which (like a bazillion other teenage girls) got me into the band years ago. The final encore was a mashup of All Along the Watchtower and Stairway to Heaven, which was rad, beyond my wildest dreams.

Blurry ole pic, but admittedly was focused elsewhere
