Verse: Classical Antiquity

You are a rare artifact
that I have found while exploring
a haunted castle in a faraway land

Etched carefully with runes
I long to decipher but cannot,
for you are not mine

You belong to the world,
An offering, built to enrich and connect,
Dissolve boundaries thin and thick

It is a consolation at least, to know,
That I am as much a part of yours
as you are of mine:

A brilliant story
Unfinished, ambiguous,
Pages perhaps to be found
On another adventure
